Two interactive pieces, both titled Mirror, shown at the Code Kitchen art show. Code Kitchen is a group of digital artists based in San Diego.
Both pieces use computer vision to detect the viewer’s face and body through a webcam or a depth camera, then overlay a mask and costume on the viewer’s image. They study the relationship between viewers and the image they project, especially in virtual media.
